Launched six months ago, the Abbey’s shop has been developing and proposes a range of different products.
The boutique is composed of three areas:
The sales area: it is here that all the tickets are sold – for exhibitions, guided tours but also for concerts and shows.
The tearoom: you can enjoy an expresso or a cup of Mariages Frères tea and fruit juice from Picardie farms.
The book shop (in partnership with the Ternisien bookshop of Abbeville): where you can find different books about the Abbey, about the language and culture of Picardie and about the heritage of Picardie Maritime. You will also find the books of previous exhibitions but also books related to the theme of the cultural season (in 2015/2016 Anim@/Animal).
The boutique also proposes “Royal Abbey” products:
Black ink pens, and 2 Gb USB flash drive, neck straps and herbal teas
It is also possible to buy bottles of our Abbey Beer: alc. 7.5% vol. There are three different varieties: triple lager, light ale and amber beer - 33cl or 75cl.
Those beers are brewed with water from the Abbey's source.
Postcards and bookmarks:
Three different large postcards (21cm x 15cm)
and five smaller postcards (10.5cm x 15cm)
made from photographs taken by artists highlight the patrimonial treasures of the Royal Abbey.
At last and for the first time it is possible to buy jellies made with the apples grown in our garden (production: Marquenterre Vocational School). The apple jellies are produced within the context of the “Chantiers des patrimoines” (projects dedicated to heritage). Called “Les Pommes d’Accords” this project was led in partnership with the Baie de Somme agricultural secondary school, the Marquenterre Craftsman's High School, the Boucher de Perthes High School and the Millevoye School – SEGPA (General and Vocational Adapted Learning Section). Soon you will enjoy the Abbey's honey - from the hives of the Abbey's park
